Want to save money?

If you are comparing the complete Witley motorhome with a lower-cost customer-supplied conversion route, read our Kia PV5 Campervan Conversion UK: Witley & Shelsley Guide (2026). It explains the customer-supplied Witley and Shelsley options, what the base vehicle needs and how the conversion route differs from buying a complete motorhome.

Silent, off-grid touring

No gas bottles, no gas appliances and no generator. The Witley uses Kia V2L power for induction cooking and 240V appliances, with electric heating and a gas-free touring layout.

  • 3.6 kW OEM V2L AC mains output
  • 60A smart charger for the auxiliary battery
  • Induction cooking and electric hot water
  • Underfloor heating and Truma Varioheat 240V heating

Stargaze panoramic pop-top

The rear-opening Stargaze roof gives extra standing room, ventilation and panoramic views while keeping the roof geometry suited to motorway travel.

  • Rear-opening roof design
  • Breathable four-season canvas
  • Panoramic zip-out ventilation
  • Standing headroom over the galley area

Seating, sleeping and everyday use

Five seats by day

The Witley seats five people in total. Four passengers use three-point-belted M1-tested positions, with an additional lap-belted buddy seat for everyday family use.

Flexible sleeping at camp

The swivel front seats create twin individual sleeping positions. Add the buddy-seat infill cushions to create a full-width double bed across the front of the motorhome.

Payload and loading guidance

These indicative examples use 75 kg per person, plus a fixed 20 kg pots and pans allowance. The 71.2 kWh battery adds approximately 45 kg. Always check the finished vehicle’s Stage 2 VIN plate and plated GVW.

Occupancy People + Pots and pans allowance Total load Remaining 51.5 kWh Remaining 71.2 kWh Status
Driver only 75 kg 20 kg 95 kg 400 kg 355 kg Excellent
2 up 150 kg 20 kg 170 kg 325 kg 280 kg Very good
3 up 225 kg 20 kg 245 kg 250 kg 205 kg Good

Important: the remaining allowance must cover all additional luggage, food, water and equipment. Do not exceed the plated GVW.

Frequently asked questions

Can five people travel in the Witley?

Yes. The Witley has five travel positions, including the lap-belted buddy seat. Payload must still be checked against the finished motorhome’s plated GVW.

How much extra luggage can five people carry?

Using the example calculation, the 51.5 kWh version has 100 kg remaining and the 71.2 kWh version has 55 kg remaining after five 75 kg occupants and the 20 kg pots and pans allowance. Any additional luggage uses that remaining allowance.

What is included in the Witley?

The Witley is a complete electric motorhome with its motorhome logbook classification, pop-top roof, five-seat layout, sleeping system, galley, V2L-powered electrical system, heating, water, storage and toilet equipment. Battery choice and any requested upgrades should be confirmed at order.
