The Witley is our flagship conversion fitted to your own Kia PV5 Cargo van. You supply the van, we transform it into a professionally fitted, luxury electric campervan. Built on the Kia E-GMP platform, measuring 4,695 mm long and 1,895 mm wide, standing under 2.1 m high — clearing height barriers and fitting standard parking bays. With our M1-tested beds and lightweight build, we calculate the available payload using the individual vehicle's plated GVW and kerb weight.

Factory Heat Pump & V2L Required — Kia PV5 Cargo

The Witley conversion is designed for the Kia PV5 Cargo with both the factory-fitted Heat Pump and 3.6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system. This Cargo-only specification also requires the factory-fitted extra sliding door. These factory systems and the additional sliding door are the foundation of the conversion and must be present on the customer-supplied van before the build begins.

  • 3.6 kW V2L System: Powers all 240 V appliances directly from the vehicle battery — no separate inverter required.
  • Kia Factory Heat Pump: Provides both air conditioning and cabin heating, powered from the PV5 — a fully electric, gas-free climate solution year-round.
  • Intelligent Priority System: Automatically pauses the EV charger while you cook — helps prevent a campsite breaker from tripping. Power resumes the moment dinner is served.
  • Kia PV5 Factory Camp Mode: OEM V2L 240 V mains control integration.

Important: When choosing your base vehicle, make sure it is a Kia PV5 Cargo with the factory-fitted Heat Pump, the extra sliding door and V2L. During your consultation, we’ll confirm the specification of your Cargo-only PV5 and plan the conversion around its factory equipment.

If your PV5 Cargo does not have these factory options: We recommend the 240 V Heater — Truma Varioheat Eezy, a compact electric blow heater running from campsite hookup, providing reliable warmth without gas and making it ideal for British year-round touring. For a self-contained off-grid 240 V setup, we can also discuss our Smart Lithium / UPS Inverter retrofit fitting service, subject to your vehicle and touring requirements.

Real-World Payload: How Much Can You Carry?

Based on a Kia PV5 GVW of 2,785 kg, with the Witley build adding approximately 295 kg to the standard kerb weight. Each person is calculated at 75 kg. A fixed 20 kg pots and pans allowance is included regardless of occupancy. The 71.2 kWh battery adds a further 45 kg.

No. This Witley listing is specifically for a customer-supplied Kia PV5 Cargo with the required extra sliding door, factory Heat Pump and V2L system. Passenger PV5 conversion options are described separately where available.

Does the Witley include ISOFIX?

No. ISOFIX is not included on the Witley layout. If rear-seat ISOFIX is important, the Shelsley is the Kia PV5 option to compare, subject to the final approved seating configuration.

What factory equipment is needed for the Witley conversion?
